New neighbors.
Same quiet desk.

A few relevant launches, a clear reason for each one, and a source you can check. Refresh hourly on TRMNL.

Recipe preparing for review

The public install link appears here after TRMNL approves the Recipe.

  1. 01

    Describe what makes you, you.

Add your public product description, customers and optional keyword filters. A company name alone is not enough.

  2. 02

Read the reason, check the source.

Matches use shared words and explicitly related product topics. They are leads to explore, not verified competitors. Some announcements are side projects, not companies.

  3. 03

    Make space on your TRMNL.

Full screen shows up to 3, 6 or 8 matches. Half screens show two; a quadrant shows one. Scan the full-screen QR or enter the code at this website for clickable links. No API key or paid AI subscription.

03 / KNOW THE EDGES

Familiar, with the evidence attached.

We search the HN Search API by Algolia for Launch HN and Show HN announcements, then verify every displayed title and posting date with the official Hacker News API. Launch HN’s YC batch is shown only when stated in its title. Show HN does not imply YC affiliation. Dates mean announcement dates, not company incorporation or first-ever release.

We sample recent announcements plus searches for up to two specific words from your profile or must-have keywords, checking up to 100 unique posts per refresh. This is bounded coverage of two Hacker News launch feeds, not a complete market or YC directory. We do not use Product Hunt or scrape company directories.

A product signal or explicit must-have keyword is required; audience wording alone cannot supply a match. Relevance is a transparent rules score, not a percentage or AI verdict. A shared topic can be adjacent rather than competitive. Explanations use title evidence only, so missing customer information stays unknown. Older cached editions and incomplete source checks are labeled; no matches stays empty.

Independent community project by Manny4C, not affiliated with YC or TRMNL. No account, advertising trackers or browser profile storage. Creating a links page or polling from TRMNL saves your public profile in our private storage. Anyone with the page link or code can view that profile and its latest matches. This is a shareable link, not a password. Changing settings creates a different code; previously created pages continue to work. Standard hosting request logs may contain your public-description settings. Use the support link to report a poor match or source issue.
